About the Attorney

I am Peter A. Ryan. My wife and I have two children in the home. The 12-year old attends Live Oak Middle, and we have a toddler girl who will turn two in August. I attended Tulane Law School, graduating with a certificate in Maritime Law with my J.D. Until opening this office, I worked at a firm in Gretna, LA, but due to a number of circumstances I decided to make the investment in our community here at home by opening this office. Since opening this office, I have help scores of people from right here in Livingston Parish save their homes and have a fresh start in their lives. I have helped many others plan for their future by writing wills and drafting power of attorney documents that will save their family’s from some stress and grief down the road.

I attended my undergraduate university on the north shore of O’ahu, in Hawai’i, after having spent two years living in Switzerland and in France. After graduating with a degree in Political Science, I briefly taught school under a temporary license before deciding to attend graduate school. I attended Nottingham University in the United Kingdom, graduating with a Masters degree in International Relations and a fantastic experience under my belt. After grad school, I worked for First American Title in California before accepting an invitation to attend law school in New Orleans.

My wife grew up locally, and my in-laws currently reside in Central. My wife and I enjoy our community and love that our services allow the people of Livingston Parish to get a fresh start in their lives, and to save their homes. I maintain a very family-friendly practice, so feel free to bring your kids along; we can always put on Disney Channel in the lobby for them. You may also get to meet my daughter, who frequents the office and is slowly taking over one of the office spaces. Don’t fear the phone calls any longer, and don’t fear what the future may hold. Please come in and see what we can do for you!
